A word to the church

Depression spreads quietly through this generation, hollowing purpose and stealing futures from millions with no visible wounds. It’s not laziness or lack of faith; untreated, it’s a societal and spiritual crisis, worsened by silent refuges.

The global body of Christ is called to offer more than a verse and a smile. We are called to sit in the ash heap with the suffering, the way Job's friends did before they started talking, and to hold out both the truth of who a person is in Christ and the treatment their mind and body need — refusing to let anyone believe they have been forgotten by God or by His people.

Darkness affects even the faithful. Many in church hide their struggles—strong on Sunday, unraveling by Monday—fearing it shows weak faith. A church preaching only victory, ignoring valleys, loses people to silent despair. Healing must be honestly modeled inside before helping the hurting world.
